MACROscope® TECHNOLOGY
BPI products and services are based on the company’s patented and proprietary
MACROscope® confocal submicron laser scanning technology, which enables panoramic, data-rich fluorescence and brightfield imaging of large tissue specimens in minutes instead of hours.
The MACROscope® innovation pivots on the replacement of conventional microscope objectives with telecentric f*
q laser scan lenses and new scanning optics, which results in a viewing area that is more than 100 times that of a conventional microscope with the same resolution.
Based on this technology, BPI develops and provides advanced high-content imaging systems for tissue imaging and genomic and proteomic analysis that enable, for the first time, in a single instrument:
- panoramic, high-resolution, high-throughput imaging of large tissue specimens up to 12 cm x 17 cm
- multi-spectral fluorescence and brightfield imaging
- simultaneous detection of multiple fluorophores
- multiple contrast mechanisms
